A Little Bit About Us
​​Marievhil Namit and Annette Tano, both Occupational Therapists, have a combined experience of 30+ years working in the El Paso area. They formed TheraFUNction Pediatric Therapy Services to serve the children in the El Paso and New Mexico area with a focus on utilizing evidence-based research and technological treatment options to maximize functional outcomes. Their goal is to provide quality rehabilitation services in a comprehensive, compassionate and professional manner.
We are one of the only pediatric rehab companies in El Paso who provides treatments based on the DIR Floortime model. DIR Floortime is an evidenced-based treatment approach, developed by Dr. Stanley Greenspan, that assists children with Autism and neurodevelopmental differences improve their sensory, regulation, emotional, learning and motor challenges.
Pediatric Physical Therapy
Pediatric Physical Therapy will promote a child’s gross motor skills and help develop their movement, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, posture and endurance for their overall health, well being and safety.
Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Pediatric Occupational Therapy will help a child be functional and independent on day to day activities such as dressing, feeding, playing and attending to a fine motor and visual motor task.
Pediatric Speech Therapy
Pediatric Speech Therapy will help improve a child’s expressive and receptive communication skills as well as feeding disorders.
